Guide to Marlowe Condo Houston
Built in 2018, located in Downtown, see Marlowe condos for sale, amenities, pictures & reviews.
Located within the exciting Downtown area, The Marlowe is a 2018-construction 20-story luxury highrise from Randall Davis. Resembling a pinstripe suit with its black and white glass façade, the building showcases 22 floor plans named after popular actors like Brando, Newman, and Redford.
-
NEW HIGHRISE DEVELOPMENT: Randall Davis, the same developer behind luxury buildings like Cosmopolitan, Empire Lofts, Manhattan, and Rice Lofts, announced the development this project in 2015. Most of the residential condo buildings in Downtown are midrises and loft types. The Marlowe is one of the few residential highrises in the area built after 2010. (See Guide To Houston’s New Construction Highrises.)
-
LUXURY AMENITIES: The building features a starlight/sky pool with hot tub, state-of-the-art fitness center, 24-hour full-service concierge and valet parking, and an outdoor fire pit. Additional amenities include a massage and sauna room, steam room, massage room, and a guest apartment for residents’ visitors with a daily fee. (See Guide To Houston’s Best Luxury Condos.)
-
EXCITING DOWNTOWN LOCATION: Downtown’s exciting entertainment centers are just a few blocks away. These include Discovery Green, Toyota Center, Green Street, and Minute Maid Park. Historic District, a mile from the condo, is home to historical landmarks and properties like Allen’s Landing (Houston’s founding site and original port), and Market Square Park. The Theatre District, with its world-class opera houses, theatres, music, and ballet companies, is also a mile from The Marlowe.
-
CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT: One of Houston’s Most Accessible Neighborhoods, Downtown has over 3,500 companies operating within its borders. Home to regional and corporate headquarters, the district is one of the busiest in Bayou City with over 200,000 employees. Downtown has an extensive network of conjoined railings/pedestrian access connecting buildings all over the district.
-
NEAR MEDICAL CENTER: Just 5 miles south of The Marlowe, the Texas Medical Center is one of Houston’s major business centers. It houses more than 100,000 employees and volunteers with over 52 medical, clinical, and research institutions and facilities.
-
METRORAIL ACCESS: The Marlowe is one of the condos near METRORail stations. Residents are only a few blocks from 2 METRORail stations, Bell and Main Street. METRORail’s Red, Purple, and Green lines converge on Main Street and provide service along almost 23 miles of central Houston.
Buying The Marlowe Condos can be tricky. Initial developer pricing put the condos far above the median sale price for other downtown lofts and condos and the overall downtown condo market has experienced limited appreciation over the past 15 years due to a variety of supply and demand factors (including the plethora of lease-only buildings constructed in the area). A Marlowe condo buyer would benefit from a good realtor’s advice, especially on how the building and unit compare to other residential condos in the district.

“Brad and Laura were amazing and exceeded my expectations. They helped me and my family selling our old home and buying a new one. They were both very professional, knowledgeable and respectful of my time and my family. I have 2 teenagers and a dog that can make anyone's job challenging but they were able to accommodate to our schedule and always seem calm and confident that everything was going to be ok. A process that could have been stressful was actually a pleasure. From the staging and pictures to the day we sold our house everything was great and the house sold really quick at a very good price. Brad was always a call away and was very responsive to any question we might have; excellent communication and customer service skills. Brad was with us every step of the way and did not miss anything for the house we sold and the house we bought; he recommended a very good inspector who was able to find some issues with our new house that the builder was able to fix before we signed on the contract to buy our new house; Brad also went to the final walk through with me and helped me checking the house one last time since my husband was not going to be able to go. Everything from day one was first class with Brad and Laura. I would recommend them as realtors to anyone I know. We hope to stay in this new house for a while but I will definitely contact them the next time I sell and/or buy a new house!” - Paula Sutton (Google Review)
