Charnwood TX History


During the 1950s, Charnwood is a rural area with few farm roads. The neighborhood has refurbished antique homes from the 1950s and newer residences.

Between 1870 and 1950, the district's structures expanded into single-family houses and predominant buildings.

To keep its character, the district used low stone, concrete, and brick walls for the landscape. These materials were also used for infrastructures such as paved roads and sewage systems.

Tudor, Classical, and Colonial Revival were the predominant house styles in the district.
