“We worked with Courtney Williams and she and the Houston Properties Team were absolutely fantastic- I cannot recommend her enough. We spent a year and half looking for the perfect home. Courtney was always incredibly patient with our VERY specific criteria and we never felt pressured to just pick something. On the contrary, she provided very in-depth market analysis for each property we were interested in and was forthcoming about any concerns she had for budget and resale (location, layout, cost for updates, etc.). Ultimately, she found us a great house BEFORE was listed, in a tight market. Throughout the process, she and her awesome partner, Erica, were constantly in communication and very easy to get ahold of. And they're a lot of fun! We are so grateful to Courtney and the Houston Properties Team for their patience, expertise, and professionalism.” - Emily Goodman (Google Review)

Clear Lake City TX History
In 1938, a wealthy businessman named James Marion West sold 30,000 acres of land in southern Harris County. This land included his family ranch, which was sold to the Humble Oil and Refining Company (now ExxonMobil).
In 1963, the Friendswood Development Company, a venture of Humble Oil, had plans to create a master-planned residential development. This development was intended to support the emerging space industry. They established the Clear Lake City Community Association, Inc. (CLCCA) to oversee this project.
Governor John Connally officially inaugurated Clear Lake City on September 15, 1963. Clear Lake City was annexed by Houston in 1977, despite efforts by residents to prevent it through grassroots campaigns.
Today, Clear Lake City boasts diverse architectural styles, with many traditional-styled homes among them.
