“Lisa was wonderful at understanding what I was looking for and finding many possibilities. When viewing homes she was terrific at noticing and pointing out features - both positive and negative. I always felt like she was looking for the best home for me. Her advice during the negotiation process was so very helpful. She then followed up on every issue raised. Her team exceeded my expectation during the closing process. They provided an excellent summary of key dates and actions required and relevant information. And they reminded me at each step.” - Jeri Eagan (Google Review)

Fall Creek TX History
Golf has been a prominent feature in the Fall Creek area since the 1960s. El Dorado Country Club, with its 18-hole George Fazio-designed golf course, occupied the site from 1964 up until it closed in the early 1990s.
In 2002, the Redstone Golf Club opened on the site of El Dorado. Jacobsen-Hardy Golf Design was responsible for the course’s redesign. The original log-cabin-style clubhouse was demolished and replaced with new clubhouse facilities and a restaurant. The club hosted the Shell Houston Open.
Escalante Golf of Fort Worth bought Redstone in 2013 and renamed it the Golf Club of Houston. Today, the club features two 18-hole courses: a private member course and a public tournament course. The Rees Jones-designed tournament course features a course rating of 75.8 and a slope rating of 138.
Fall Creek opened its doors in 2003, developed under Johnson Development Corp. and the Jefferson Development Company. Johnson Development is a well-known developer in Bayou City, helming various projects like Cross Creek Ranch, Harmony, Riverstone, and Sienna. On the other hand, Jefferson Development also has several communities in the Greater Houston area, including Firethorne, Coles Crossing, Bridge Mill (in Towne Lake), and Silverlake.
The master-planned golf course community was originally slated to feature around 1,400 homes. The developers added to the community’s original 800 acres, which now covers about 2,300 acres (with an expected 2,500 homes upon completion).
Fun Things To Do Near Fall Creek
As one of the premier golf course communities in the Greater Houston area, Fall Creek’s main attraction is the Golf Club of Houston.
Previously called the Redstone Golf Club, the Golf Club of Houston is home to the Shell Houston Open, a PGA Tour event. The club features two 18-hole championship courses: the public Tournament course and the private Member Course.
The Tournament course, designed by Rees Jones, is a par 72 7,422-yard course. It has a course rating of 75.8 and a slope rating of 138. On the other hand, the members-only course was redesigned by Jacobsen-Hardy Golf Design (par 72, 7,508-yard). Other club amenities include a 31,000-square-foot practice range (with short game areas, fairways, bunkers, and a driving range), a 33,000-square-foot clubhouse, and the Players Grill.
Fall Creek’s community amenities are just as luxurious. The Park at Fall Creek, a large recreation complex located along Fall Creek Bend, features an aquatic center with a Junior Olympic pool, a splash pad, a family pool, and water slides. Four lighted tennis courts and a playground are also within the complex.
