The area where Fulbrook now sits was primarily rural, covered with cattle and horse ranches. The FM 1093/Westpark Tollway expansion and several master-planned communities fueled growth in the Fulshear-Greater Katy area.
Fulbrook is one of the master-planned communities in the Fulshear area, with homes built between 2000 and 2017. Initially made up of 900 acres of land just outside the city of Fulshear, the community added 136 acres later on.
Trend Development, the same company behind Fulbrook on Fulshear Creek and Long Meadow Farms, developed the master-planned community. DHK Development, a developer and consultant, was also involved in the project until the community was handed over in 2012.
