Gleannloch Farms was owned by Douglas Marshall, a Texas real estate investor, and his wife, Margaret Cullen Marshall, the daughter of philanthropist Hugh Roy Cullen.
They bought the Gleannloch Farms in the mid-1940s and built a horse farm in the 1950s.
