Oak Estates Houston Neighborhood Maps
Two new updated maps of Oak Estates in Houston TX. See Oak Estates Houston homes, neighborhood, and real estate guide.
Oak Estates Houston is quintessentially Inner Loop. This charming Inner Loop neighborhood in the shadows of River Oaks offers an incredible location, a peaceful ambiance, and beautiful scenery.
Located in the 77027 Houston zip code, it is the 4th most expensive Houston neighborhood and offers many conveniences typical of Inner Loop neighborhoods.
The deed restrictions in Oak Estates only allow for single-family residences. Bylaws of the HOA require homes to be meticulously maintained, with lawns at least 25 feet wide.
With just over 130 home sites, Oak Estates homes are a mix of traditional one-story homes and plenty of new constructions. The neighborhood offers some of the roomiest lots in the vicinity but remains one of the more cost-effective investments.

For details on any specific property in the Oak Estates area, please contact Paige Martin, ranked #1 Individual Agent with Keller Williams in Houston. Email at [email protected] or call 713-425-4194.
Oak Estates was developed by S.N. Adams in the 1940s, at about the same time as the adjacent Highland Village. Having worked at the River Oaks Corp., Adams ensured both neighborhoods are as similar to neighboring River Oaks.
The neighborhood is south of San Felipe St, west of Willowick Rd., north of Westheimer Rd., and east of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks running along Mid Lane. A ditch that drains flood water also runs along the freight rail tracks.
It is interesting to note that some think Oak Estates only runs until Drexel Drive. These new maps indicate Willowick Road borders Royden Oaks to the west.
There are two sections to the neighborhood. The first section includes the northern part of Suffolk Drive, the eastern part of Overbrook Ln, and the streets of San Felipe Rd, Meadow Lake Ln, Piping Rock Ln, Ella Lee Ln, and Drexel Drive.
The smaller second section covers the southern part of Suffolk Drive, the western side of Overbrook Lane, along with Seyborn Drive and Wickersham Lane.
Neighborhoods nearby Oak Estates include Royden Oaks, Highland Village, River Oaks, Afton Oaks, Galleria, Braeswood, Upper Kirby, Greenway Plaza, Kettering Oaks, Lynn Park, Riverhollow, Wesleyan Plaza, Crestwood, Avalon Place, and Glendower Court.
Nearby zip codes include 77046, 77098, 77019, 77007, 77008, 77024, 77056, 77401, and 77005. (View Houston zip code map.)
Oak Estates Real Estate Guide
"We recently closed on the sale of our home with the Houston Properties Team representing us. They provided excellent resources and guidance to prepare our property for listing and to ensure the highest return. The Team kept us regularly informed throughout the process and always represented our best interests.” – Eric Gronkberg
Oak Estates area is attractive for home buyers who wish to be near work and has the best recreational and dining spots in Houston. With the West Loop South and Southwest Freeway both being less than a mile away, residents have easy access to the business districts of Uptown Houston and Greenway Plaza.
The largest mall in the state, The Galleria, is just over the loop. Downtown Houston is also just a 20-minute drive via West Gray St or Allen Parkway.
Highland Village Shopping Center runs along Westheimer Rd and has a great collection of shops, boutiques, and restaurants. The Central Market Houston is just across the street and offers a variety of domestic and international goods.
One of the best private schools in Houston, River Oaks Baptist School, is along Willowick Road and is just walking distance from students in the neighborhood.
Just over 86 acres large, Oak Estates' real estate market displays a constant low inventory. As a result, its land value has increased by 25% in the last five years.

Benefits Of Working With The Houston Properties Team
Our team, composed of distinguished and competent Houston luxury realtors, has a well-defined structure based on the individual strengths of each member.
We find the team approach as the most effective way to sell homes. We have dedicated people doing staging, marketing, social media, open houses, and showings. Each Houston Properties Team member is a specialist in their role—which is why our homes sell faster and for more money than average.
The benefits of working with a team include:
- the ability to be in two or three places at one time; a member can handle showings, while another answer calls
- collective time and experience of members
- targeted advice and marketing of agent expert in your area
- competitive advantage by simply having more resources, more ideas, and more perspectives
- a “checks and balances” system; selling and buying a home in Houston is an intensely complex process
- more people addressing field calls and questions from buyers and agents to facilitate a faster, successful sale
- efficient multi-tasking; one agent takes care of inspections and repair work, while another agent focuses on administrative details
- multiple marketing channels using members’ networks
- constant attention: guaranteed focus on your home and your transaction
- lower risk for mistakes. Multiple moving parts increase oversights. A team approach handles these “parts” separately
- flexibility in negotiation and marketing
- better management of document flow
- increased foot traffic through more timely and effective showing schedule coordination; and
- increased sphere of influence and exposure to more potential buyers.
