- Mahanay Elementary at 13215 High Star Drive. Mahanay Elementary School opened its doors in August of 1973. It was the sixth school built in the Alief Independent School District. Special programs at Mahanay include ESL services and Special Education Services. Gifted Education, Center for Early Autism Intervention, TLC, Life skills, Reach, and PACS are also offered.
Middle Schools
- Sugar Land Middle School at 321 7th St. Formely Sugar Land Junior High, the school first opened its doors in the fall of 1975. Sugar Land Middle School is zoned under the Fort Bend ISD. The school offers extracurricular activities such as football, basketball, volleyball, track, and tennis. There are also Fine arts and visual arts programs. The school's theater focus on band, choir, and orchestra.

It has been named a model by the Harris County Flood Control District. The study was conducted by the Brays Bayou watershed.
