“We're new to Texas and particularly the area around Conroe. We made numerous trips locally to check out different subdivisions, builders, traffic, weather, flood zones, etc. Brittney Coyle was kind and patient, helpful and understanding. Whenever we needed her expertise, time, knowledge of the area, subdivisions and builders she was there for us. We appreciate all her help and will certainly recommend her to family and friends. Westchester TX History

Westchester is one of the most well-sought and highest-ranked neighborhoods within Memorial West.

Westchester, as part of the Memorial West area, was primarily comprised of farms and sawmills. During the post-war housing boom that came about in the 1950s and 60s, the area's development had just begun.

The building of Interstate 10 and the rising market for housing within the vicinity led developers to construct subdivisions around Buffalo Bayou.

During the same period, Houston began expanding westward, causing distinct areas to be annexed into Bayou City.

The lush surroundings and commercial expansion attracted people to the neighborhood. Enhancing amenities, like academies and retail centers, also contributed to the neighborhood's reputation.
