“Yolanda was amaaazing! My husband and I are second time home buyers and with Yolanda’s help, this experience was so much better. From our initial meeting, Yolanda was very approachable, kind, and very knowledgeable. The best thing about her is that she really listened to what we were looking for and she really was our #1 advocate. Before we got her on our team, we were about to buy a house that was “too good to be true” and we thought we were getting a good deal for it. But thankfully, we had Yolanda join our team and educated us on things that we really did not realize. But what I appreciated most was that she was always very loving and kind in her approach to letting us know how the house we chose was a bad idea. She always checked in to really listen to what we wanted in a new house and reassured us that we should not settle. Soon after that, she was able to find the perfect house for us! Her professionalism and communication were also top notch! I highly recommend her!” - Iris Chen (Google Review)

Hedwig Circle TX History
In the early 1900s, the land around what is now Hedwig Circle in Hedwig Village, Houston, Texas, was mostly farms and sawmills. It echoed the farming and industrial roots of the Memorial area.
Hedwig Road itself was named after Hedwig Jankowski Schroeder. She was a German immigrant who, with her husband, settled in the area in 1906.
The couple donated a part of their farm. It later became known as Hedwig Road and helped shape the community.
During the 1950s and 60s, the area began to develop. This was spurred by the construction of the Katy Freeway.
Hedwig Village took steps to keep its rural character. It wanted to avoid being annexed by neighboring towns.
In December 1954, the village became an independent municipality. It adopted a mayor-council form of government.
Today, Hedwig Village has a variety of homes, from old ranch-style to fancy mini-mansions. The neighborhood is known for its great schools and easy access to shops and restaurants. Despite growing, it still keeps its historic charm.
