Serenity at Meridiana TX History


The developing town of Manvel is home to Serenity at Meridiana. In the past, it was originally given the name Pomona. However, that name was changed to Manvel in honor of a man who became the president of the small town.

The town's population remained stable around the early to middle ages of the 20th century. An oil-producing thriving city was also established in Manvel after some time. It started when the Texas Oil Company discovered oil in the area on September 8, 1931.

In the present, Manvel's huge farms were developed into subdivisions. Eventually, it became home to well-known properties in the area.

On the final block east of Texas 288, the city plans to construct a town center complex. The city also envisions it as a center of industry in the future.
